Building the Church
If the body of Christ, the church, ‘grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work’ (Ephesians 4:16), what is it that you could be doing to build the church up in love?
Could you encourage someone who is discouraged?
Could you pray for that person who crosses your mind from time to time?
Is there someone who is shut in or lonely that you could visit?
Is there some way you could serve another person?
Is there a conversation about the Lord that you could open up with another person?
These are all ways in which we can be part of the building up of God’s church. And as we do so in faith, love and hope our witness in the community is one of integrity.
